Tampa Bay Chapter PMI

Non-Academic Scholarship Program

Overview

The Tampa Bay Chapter of the Project Management Institute (TBPMI) Non-Academic Scholarship Program is designed to financially assist Chapter Member Applicants in obtaining:

1. Contact hours for non-academic education in project management to qualify for the Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Program Management Professional (PgMP), PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)
2. Admission to a PMP, CAPM, PgMP, PMI-SP or PMI-RMP exam preparation courses ^[1], or
3. Professional Development Units (PDUs) required for maintaining PMI certification.

PMI is a global organization of volunteers at the national, regional, and chapter levels. Our chapter relies on volunteers to provide the services and value our members join PMI for. Many volunteer opportunities are available in the chapter, whether its being a member of the Board of Directors, taking leadership roles on major chapter projects, or helping out with key events such as the annual Symposium.
