Project Management |
Speaker: Pam Kerstetter
This presentation covers the application of Project Management methodologies to everyday life. You will never be in charge of a larger, more complex, or more important project than your life and that of your family.
Project Managers are unique amongst the general population because they are trained to plan. They understand the need to grasp fully the big picture and yet pay attention to the details. They live with ‘scope creep’ and ever changing requirements. They know through experience that… ‘that which is not written’ shall most likely not happen!
The painter’s house needs painting, the cobbler’s shoes need heels, the lawn service technician’s grass needs cut…. and of course, the project manager’s future needs a plan!
You will leave this event with:
A list of the highest priority immediate deliverables.
An awareness of some of the ‘default’ deliverables.
A heightened awareness of this project’s importance.
And hopefully, inspired to take action; to develop a plan for ‘Project = You’
Note: Pam presented this topic at the July Sarasota meeting, and the response was very positive and enthuisiastic. Dontt miss this oportunity to learn about and discuss the biggest and most important project you may ever face.
