Who Are Our Project Management Institute Members?
PMI Tampa Bay membership includes more than 1,400 project management professionals from all sectors and fosters excellence in project management. Our membership has significant impact in business decisions within their organizations that include corporations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, The Nielsen Company, JPMorganChase, Citigroup, Fidelity National Information Systems, Raymond James, Verizon, IBM and Home Shopping Network, just to name a few. In addition, many non-member organizations and individuals from the Florida area attend our events.
Monthly Chapter Dinner Meetings
Chapter Dinner Meeting sponsorship provides you the opportunity to gain exposure and get your message out to leaders in the field of project management in the Tampa Bay area. As a sponsor, your company information and logo are displayed on the PMITB website, meeting marketing emails, and the newsletter, and you will also be provided a table at the meeting to display and provide information and network with members before and after the meeting. Additionally, you will have dedicated time to present to the meeting attendees before the speaker presentation.
Meeting attendance usually draw between 80-120 people.
Monthly Dinner Meeting Sponsorships are $500 per meeting.
Annual PMITB Symposium
Our Annual Symposium is our biggest event and widely known in the Project Management community as one of the premier project management events in the Southeast region. The Symposium features keynote speakers, workshops and over 20 presentations from top leaders in the business community. The 2011 Symposium is our 7th annual Symposium and promises to be the most exciting yet. With over 350 attendees at last year’s Symposium from leading local businesses, sponsorship can help you build and maintain market awareness of your products and services
Symposium sponsorship opportunities start at $1000.
Annual Awards Gala
The Annual Awards Gala is a formal holiday event featuring a silent auction, awards, entertainment and networking opportunities. The Gala celebrates and honors Tampa Bay’s Outstanding Project Managers, Project of the Year, Sponsor of the Year, Company of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. In addition, the Gala provides dinner, entertainment and networking time.
The 2008 Awards Gala had over 250 attendees.

Other Events and Sponsorship Opportunities
PMITB hosts other events with additional sponsorship opportunities. We hold several networking events and workshops throughout the year and sponsors are encouraged to provide gifts for raffle during the events. Sponsors receive promotion at these events. We have also held several charity events, including a Golf Tournament, that provide your business other opportunities for promotion.
